A²MIND

A²MIND is an adaptive learning platform for mathematics, science and English. It adjusts question difficulty as you answer, so the problems stay at the right level: not too easy, not too hard. Every question comes with a hint and a full step-by-step solution.

Pick a topic on the home page, then pick a skill inside it, then choose Practice or Challenge.

• Class topics follow the school curriculum by grade level (Grades 5–12).
• Contest topics prepare you for math competitions (PMO, HKIMO, TIMO, PhIMO and BBB).
• Entrance and scholarship reviews cover the PSHS National Competitive Exam (NCE), the DOST-SEI Scholarship Exam and the UPCAT, with subtests such as math, science, language and reading.
• Chemistry topics include the gas laws and the units of the chemistry course.
• Your teacher may also assign skills to your class; they appear on the home page and under Find My Class.

Open-ended practice on any skill. The adaptive engine watches your accuracy, response time and confidence to gradually raise or lower the difficulty.

• Use Hint if you’re stuck. It keeps you moving but lowers the points you can earn.
• Use Show Solution to see the full step-by-step working.
• Rate your confidence (1–5) after each question. This feeds the adaptive engine.
• Many questions include a figure (graph, circuit, diagram or table). Read the labels and numbers; do not measure the drawing.
• Reading questions include their own passage; read it before the question.
• Your difficulty level is saved between sessions for each skill.
• Found a mistake? Tap the 🐞 button on the question to report it.

A 10-question round with lives, streaks and a score. Every round starts at Easy and moves up or down with your performance.

• 3 correct in a row moves you up one tier.
• 2 wrong answers move you down one tier.
• You have 3 lives; each wrong answer costs one, and the round ends early if you lose all 3.
• Points by tier: Easy 50, Medium 100, Hard 200.
• Streak multipliers: 3 in a row ×1.5, 5 in a row ×2.
• A hint halves the points for that question; showing the solution gives 0.
• Speed bonus for a perfect round with a life left: +75 (under 18 s per question), +150 (under 12 s) or +300 (under 8 s).

Most questions are multiple choice: tap the answer you think is correct. Some skills ask you to type an answer.

• Answers are not case-sensitive and spaces don’t matter.
• Write fractions as a/b (for example 3/4).
• Write square roots as 2√3 or √3.
• Enter angles in degrees (45) or as expressions such as π/4.
• Money answers use the peso sign (₱) where the question does.

Interactive visual tools for exploring ideas: conic sections, partial fractions, Riemann sums, solids of revolution, trigonometric integrals and substitution, and a trigonometric transformer. Open them from Simulations in the menu or the footer.

Earn badges for milestones: finishing challenge rounds, keeping streaks, answering accurately and mastering topics. Your challenge scores appear on the leaderboard.

• The leaderboard resets daily and weekly, but All-Time is permanent.
• Your personal best score for each skill is shown at the start of each round.
• See your badges under My Badges in the menu.

Your teacher can enroll you in a class to track your progress and see class leaderboards. If you have a class code, open Find My Class in the menu and enter it. Messages from your teacher, and your replies, are under Messages.

Once you are signed in, a 🤖 button appears in the corner of your screen. Tap it to get the A² Tutor step coach: hints, the working one step at a time, and a check of your own steps for the question on screen. It does not use an AI service or send your questions anywhere.

Teachers see extra items in the menu (Teacher Corner): create classes, assign skills with a starting difficulty, build worksheets and problem sets, make printable handouts, present a skill to the class one question at a time, and message students. The subjects you can use are set by an administrator.

• Read the whole question, including any figure or passage, before choosing.
• Eliminate choices you know are wrong, then pick from what is left.
• Review the solution of every question you miss, even after a correct guess.
• Use Dark Mode (top right) if you prefer a darker theme.
